On September 5, 2025, I had the chance to present my series Dolls Life at the historic Bust Factory Berlin (Büstenfabrik-Berlin) in the HB55 area during the Lange Nacht der Bilder Lichtenberg. It turned into such a wonderfully charming evening – surrounded by dear friends, family, and so many visitors who came by. I truly enjoyed sharing my work in this special place and feeling the warmth and curiosity of everyone who joined.
A heartfelt thank you to Danny and the Bust Factory Berlin, and to Larisa Lauber and Friederike Ablang – for the opportunity to create such a fun exhibition together.
Here’s a look behind the scenes and some impressions from the night.
//////// Preparations The day before the opening were spent arranging the space inside the Bust Factory. Mannequins, molds, and industrial elements provided a very fitting backdrop.
////////// The Artworks I showed a series of five 3D works created in Blender. They explore the idea of mannequins and dolls in sculptural, playful forms.
The works were presented in a large format – 80 × 110 cm prints on hard foam boards.
Those interested in purchasing a piece are welcome to get in touch.
///////// Impressions from the Night Many people came by as part of the tours on the HB55 grounds. The atmosphere was open and friendly, with time for conversations and exchange.

The Participatory Part
Visitors were invited to bring mannequins to life through their own drawings. The table quickly filled with sketches – simple, funny, and imaginative contributions. I am always fascinated by how differently minds work in a creative setting: no drawing looks like the other, yet each one is interesting and convincing in its own way. Well done everyone!!!
